Plan sets are provided in electronic, Adobe Acrobat® PDF file format at an architectural scale of 1/8"= 1'-0" or 3/16"=1'-0", with details at 1/4"=1'-0" to 3"=1'-0". The plan sets will print on either letter, legal or ledger sized paper depending on the size of the plan, so that plans may be printed on standard printers.

In order to view & print these plans, you should have Adobe Acrobat® Reader® installed on your computer.

Construction and Study plan sets include:

• Cover Page: drawing schedule, general notes, possibly a sample site plan illustrating a typical grading configuration consistent with the elevation & floor plans.
• Rendering: provides a sense of depth & finish of the home, making it easier to visualize the final product.
• Front, Left, Rear & Right Elevations: fully dimensioned drawings showing wall & roof heights, siding materials, window & door configurations, etc.
• Foundation Plan: fully dimensioned drawing shows details for all concrete work.
• Floor Plans: include lower, first floor and second as applicable. Each drawing is fully dimensioned & shows wall, window & door locations.
• Roof Plan: represents a bird's eye view of the home. The direction, size, slope and position of each roof line is indicated. This plan is fully dimensioned.
• Cross Section(s): provides a concept of the interior space & structural detailing.
• Detail Drawing(s): larger scale drawings to clarify details as required.
• Window-Door Schedule: complete list of the types & sizes of all windows & exterior doors used in the plans.
• Notes & Specifications: used to clarify certain aspects of the design such as wall composition, finishes, etc.

What's not included:

• Mechanical & Electrical: Your local trades people will provide appropriate designs to suit your regional & personal requirements.
• Material Lists: Material take-off services are normally available through your contractor or local building supply dealer.
• Wall Framing Plans: It is expected that all trades people know the details of their trade and have the expertise to construct the designs described in the 'Included Plans'.
